Price was nowhere near Bruno’s class.
Big Frank took & walked through many shots from notably big punchers, those same shots would have separated Price from his consciousness. There’s no comparison in chin, stamina, nervous energy or whatever else

I think Lennox was a HW who could beat any other HW past or present on a given day.
As you say Lennox suffered a couple of KOs, but I think his chin was very good overall

He fought Tyson, despite being ducked repeatedly, He already beat Vitali no need for a rematch. Bowe shat himself and threw his belt away. Wlad was irrelevant after his Sanders loss. Any other fighter that peaked after 2002 didnt need to be fought, that's why only haters criticize him for not fighting Byrd, Ibeabuci, Sanders or Ruiz

Those same haters would have said he was cherry picking if he fought Byrd & Ruiz. Sanders was a part time fighter loved golf. Actually Ike Ibeabuchi was being penciled in as a future Lennox opponent talks had happened. Sadly a lying Vegas hooker derailed that idea

Head to head I think he beats any HW, agreed. Still not sure I'd call him the GOAT because of other factors, but he's in the conversation.

i do fondly remember trying to get Lennox to win a tournie of ATGs in knockout Kings. He usually failed due to speed (or my lack of skill, ostensibly).

    happy days (and nights).

How you reckon people would take Lennox if he replied " Yeah Muhammads right, I am the best " lol C'mon CJ, see it for what it is

whilst he could have fought tyson a little earlier, t would have made no difference. post prison tyson wasnt elite.

sanders...i assume you only thought that AFTER wlad was dumb enough to get wiped out by the retired sanders. befroe that he was a noone to u.

vitali he stopped at age 37. who does that?

    bowe ran off.

In terms of skillset and head to head yes

In terms of legacy, resume and accomplishments no

There's a good chance Larry Holmes would be undefeated vs Lennox Lewis opposition

I would say Ali too but he would probably overlook someone

He got beat up by an old Lennox Lewis who was not in shape. A prime Lennox Lewis steam rolls Vitali Klitschko who is the most overrated heavyweight in the head to head sense on these forums

I was waiting on this one.

Ali got beat by Leon Spinks and was gifted two of the fights with Ken Norton.

Frazier got beaten unmercifully by Foreman.

Louis got beaten down by Schmeling.

Jack Johnson got beaten down by Jess Willard.

Tyson got knock TF out by Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield, and Lewis after taking massive beatings.

Lewis got caught with two lucky punches. Thats a LONG way from getting whipped for 12 rounds or getting knocked out after taking a beating.

If that's the measure we're going by, then David Tua is a goat because he never got knocked out.

Lewis' wins over the best of a good era are what puts him in the conversation. His two one punch fluke loses don't take him out of it.
