Brunos jab was a serious weapon, very heavy, there was always only gonna be one winner

There are only two top guys in terms of resume in HW, it's Lennox and Ali and they're clearly above the rest. Talking about the greatest HW, I can see an argument for both, but why all of you need to diminish one fighter just to make a case for another?

Holmes would outclass him and stop him late.

He didn't beat Bowe. Not his fault, but that's the fact. He didn't beat prime Holyfield. Evander was claearly past his best when he fought the best version of Lewis. And he beat shot to sh1t Mike Tyson. He never fought Byrd and Ruiz who were mandatoruies for his titles, athough I have no doubts that he would beat them. He hadn't fought Moorer or any other southpaw in his entire career. So no, he DIDN"T beat everyone in his era.

I'd definitely favour prime Holmes to completely outclass Lewis and stop him late. Prime Foreman might be able to knock him out early considering he had the same type of power in the right hand, MUCH better power in his left hook and MUCH better chin. Prime Ali? Lewis never ever fought a fighter with his footwork, speed and reflexes. Sonny Liston would have had a great chance of knocking Lewis out. Liston was the same size as Mercer but with better jab and much better power. If Mercer gave Lewis pure hell, Liston could have knocked him out.

Even Lennox himself would disagree with you my friend. Ive heard him say the greatest HW ever was Muhammad Ali. I think Lennox is the best since Ali

Ali suffered from Parkinson syndrome so did Janet Reno. When did Janet suffer irreparable damage ?? Lennox retired at EXACTLY the right time

I'm not sure his record supports being the GOAT, but if you were arguing that LL at his peak under Steward is the most effective h2h all time at heavy, that is a position I can take seriously.

I predicted that Lennox Lewis would be labelled as the GOAT 10 year ago now.

Thankfully this insane and irrational overrate the Ali era thing has died off now, and the majority of boxing analysts are being more real and rational in terms of ATG lists. Ali with his 5 losses plus 4 that arent counted due to corruption (totalling 9) certainly isnt the GOAT, and never has been.
Lewis doesnt have any losses on his record that are counted as wins - his record is iron clad.

I would definitely rate Lennox Lewis as the Number 1 of all time at HW, he is the ATG.

There will be conversations in another 10 years time about Wladimir Klitchsko. I expect him highly rated in ATG lists by then, but clearly you cannot objectively rate him above Lewis.

They all say that, even other boxers put Ali on a pedestal he doesn't deserve. Tyson said it about every great fighter before him, how he could never beat Louis, Liston etc..I don't listen to it tbh..George Foremans another one, he has every fighter beating him, its just so they don't look big headed and are more endearing...Ive heard him say it too Lennox Lewis, ive also heard Ali voted Lewis as the best ever, I take neither's opinion above my own, ive also heard Foreman say Lewis is the best ever " too big and strong for Ali"....I could go on, its what an ex fighter says about other fighters, its a given CJ
