That Wlad would have gave him serious trouble agreed and could do a Rahman on him. Back in 03 the pressure and expectation would all be on Lewis also.
H2H he's in with a shot of beating anybody. Massive size, reach, decent speed, explosive power, great jab, massive variety of punches, high ring iq combined with natural fighting instincts, solid chin and decent stamina. His only weaknesses were his tendency to take certain fighters lightly or undertrain, but when he was on form he was a monster. In terms of greatness no one's likely to top Ali, who accomplished so much outside the sport as well as inside it, and was truly a global phenomenon. Lennox was bland as a turnip outside the ring.
Twice? You are too kind. Vlad was unwatchable to me. Most boring of all time but he usually got the W. LL was a great fighter and was methodical. I was a big fan but he wasn’t the most exciting champ.
His chin isn't world-class and prime George foreman knocks lewis out 10/10 times dudes overrated and his era was so weak that George foreman became oldest champ John Ruiz had a title and Roy Jones the first middleweight since Fitzsimmons to win the heavyweight title yet people act like Lewis was an all-time hahaha that's funny but he barely top10
Too many ahead of him to mention sorry. Not the greatest of all time IMHO but top 12ish - Ali - Joe Loius - Larry Holmes - Rocky Marciano - George Foreman - Smokin Joe Frazier - Gene Tunney - Jack Dempsey - Sonny Liston - Ken Norton - Mike Tyson - Jersey Joe Walcott
I would say he is the best head 2 head but not the greatest. At a bare minimum Louis and Ali are above him. You can make an argument for anything between 3rd and 10th place. My list would be(only counting Louis and afterwards because I don't really care about fighters I can't study on film) Ali Louis Holmes Lewis Holyfield Tyson Foreman Marciano Klitschko Frazier
