Lewis - because he is a legend and a top 3 ATG HW fighter. Calzaghe - undefeated champion, who beat some of the best fighters out there, but had a dodgy 3 year spell. Hamed - Could have been an ATG, but in my eyes he had more natural ability and talent than 99.98% of all fighters but he quit after he lost one fight.
if naz had a fighters heart it would be him but he retired cos of one loss.imo definately lewis.he accomplished all he could in his career
P4P hardest puncher-Hamed Best P4P overall (technique/resume/EVERYTHING) Lewis by about ten miles over these two
1. Joe Louis 2. Ali 3. Lewis Ali is only second because of what he contributed to the sport stylistically with his footwork, roperdope and flair 6 hit combo's, i think Lewis would beat Ali.
Lewis, a truly ATG fighter. Most dominant, most technically sound, huge puncher, could fight in a number of different styles, and, when on fire, the best jab the heavy scene has had (come on holmes huggers...), and arguably had a signature win in the very last fight of his career, when clearly a very worn out fighter. also, and this is often forgotten, a lot of his fights were very, very good to watch. Naz then edges Calzaghe for me, due to his five year dominance of a very solid division. However, I can appreciate argument for Calzaghe there, as I think Lacy and Kessler fights showed what ability he had, and the defeat of BHop gives his cv a big name who wasn't completely shot.
It makes me laugh all the **** Calzaghe gets for not fighting great fighters in there prime. But what great heavyweights in there prime did lewis fight? And Calzaghe never got KO'd by two Journeyman.
