McCall cried because as he said, he was frustrated that the fight was going to go the way the Bruno fight had gone, he broke down AFTER taking HUGE punches.
His trainers knew of no reason why he acted as he did at the time, if he was 3 days out of rehab then they would have known and the Nevada commision wouldnt of allowed him to fight, plus the commissions investigation afterwards found no medical reasons at all! Keep on perpertuating nonsense all you want Ronnie.

Golota didn't have a good chin? Ruddock didn't have a good chin? Tyson didn't have a good chin?

    Get the **** outta here!

Ruddock just went 17 rounds with a prime (not peak) Tyson without being legitimately stopped.... Lewis stopped him in 2. If you can survive that long with Tyson, surely you gotta have a good chin. Because it's not like Ruddock ran.

Well he stopped Vitali Klitschko on cuts who was one of the most durable fighters that the division has seen in a long time. He sparked Razor Ruddock in only two rounds. Smoked a fairly tough Andrew Golata Early. And destroyed undefeated fighters in Mason and Grant without much trouble. Sure, there were some guys who he couldn't put away, but most of them were fairly durable and Lewis wasn't known as a pure puncher anyway. He was more of a boxer/puncher type fighter.

    Tyson

Close the god damn thread

Nah but, you're probably talking about McCall, Mercer and Mavrovic, who at the time they faced Lewis were all in their peak and had steel chins, thats what they got all the credit for! For standing up to Lewis and other big punchers thuds.
Then you have a guy that went down a few times, but certainly did not have a weak chin, Ruddock.. whom Lewis annihilated, that's like the only time Ruddock didnt go down laughing
