Another thing to add to that though, is wasn't Lennox's right hand hurt a bit in that fight? I remember watching on the HBO Legendary Night's program for that fight Lewis said baically "The reason why I didn't throw the right hand much during the middle part of the fight, despite Manny yelling at me and hitting my chest trying to get me to knock him out, was that my right hand was hurt a bit. I had to give it a few rounds to test it out and make sure it wasn't broken."

I believe it too, in the very early rounds Lewis landed some HUGE uppercuts, and a couple of big straight right hands. During the middle parts of the fight, he mostly just double jabs, to keep Tyson away. Towards the end (last round) he started throwing the straight right hand a lot, and knocked out Tyson with it.

When I found this out in the Legendary Night's show, I thought it was very interesting because TO THIS DAY, people complain a LOT about how Lennox 'played it safe', because he was 'afraid of a big punch'. But it seems very reasonable that he's telling the truth about his hand, as he's hurt his hands before.

Tyson never did either. Holmes had been down before and by the letter of modern day law was tko`d twice.

Toney stopped Evander, Lewis didn't even drop him. Toney is the bigger puncher.

Tyson may have been a shell of what he once was in 2002, but by no means was his chin weak by then.

He took some monster shots from Lewis in rounds 6 and 7.

It was a body shot and all it did was cause Evander to lurch forward for a clinch, Toney moved and Evander fell down, he got up but his corner told the referee to stop the fight, he was 42, no stamina and plain exhausted.
