I asked Mike Tyson about his sparring session with Lennox Lewis once. His response was "I was the best in that age group". I interpreted that to mean "I beat the crap out of him". That's not what he said but I think it's what he meant.
Lennox was asked in the interview whether he wished he had faced Mike Tyson in his prime. He answered that he did but he didn't. Interesting that Lennox has the footage of those early sparring sessions but it's never been released.
Ye I thought that was bull like but then when he said tyson was an early bloomer and he was a late bloomer I thought ye maybe he's right. Then you remember we on about tyson and the life he lived before they met in the ring and you have to say in a sea saw scale it's massively tipped lennox way
When I met Mike Tyson the thing that surprised me the most about him in person was how intelligent he was. He's no dummy. I don't know about "well read" but he's very perceptive & sharp when interacting with people. That doesn't come across in media interviews.
I'm not saying Tyson is dumb. I just think people get carried away when they meet a boxer and realize he can put a sentence together. I'll bet he wouldn't shine on an IQ test. Let's put it that way.
I can see tyson taking over the ganja industry he's making the right moves at the right time if he gets the product right the sky is the limit, I haven't seen the way that that industry is marketed over there but it is the first time I've heard of a known celebrity tying themselves to a company in that industry, if it pays off (it will) he is a genius. If you hire a genius to think for you that makes you a genius to lol
Totally mate it might even make you more of a genius. Intelligence is overatted, be as intelligent as you like but if you are boring with it, it means nothing. It's all about the right moment right time like everything in life
