Call me crazy but i think an injury to your head caused by the other man's fist should be considered a legit stoppage in the sport of boxing

 

First five rounds were Vitali rounds. He was leading on jabs and power punches by sizeable margins. According to compubox Vitali landed 152 punches to Lennox' 102. Lewis had maybe two more rounds before he was going out.

 

Vitali won 1 & 2, he lost the 3rd, the 4th was quiet as was the 5th and the 6th was Lewis'. Compubox shouldn't be used for anything, Lewis was landing the bigger blows and doing the damage. Vitali had one moment in the 2nd with the right, he didn't land anything else really significant after that. No doubt he landed more but they were mostly arm punches.

 

Remember when he sued Mike Tyson for a rematch because Mike was a money making machine. Mike was like "Dude, wtf, you won?"

 

Lewis collapsed to his stool like a sack of potatoes after round 6. He was extremely exhausted. He left everything he had trying to take Vitali out from round 3 on. He wouldn't be able to finish the fight on pure exhaustion, though the stoppage on cut was legit, so he deserves the credit for injuring Vitali's face and prompting referee to stop the fight because of that injury. What I don't gey though is how Lewis' fans are trying to discredit Byrd's win over Vitali. Byrd also was losing on points, but made Vitali injure his shoulder because he missed with his punch. So, Lewis deserves credit for injuring Vitali with his offence and Byrd doesn't deserve credit for injuring him with his defense? I don't get it. Actually Byrd deserves more credit, because Vitali wanted to continue against Lewis and said "no mas" against Byrd.

 

Compubox totals mean nothing. It doesn't matter who was ahead on points there were still 6 rounds up for grabs. I had vitali up 4-2 through 6 and felt like he was fadjng. Doesn't matter though because Lewis stopped him

 

I don't dislike Lennox, but he's boring to listen to. Not only does he not really say anything special, he's inarticulate.

By your logic does Mayweather deserve credit for injuring Pacquiao shoulder doing the right when Pacquiao was missing alot of right hooks? And don't say Pacquiao torn his right shoulder in training camp cause if that's the case? Why was he was throwing right hooks alot but miss it badly?

Injuries like that happens. The point is I'm not giving bryd credit for injuring vitali left shoulder at all. It was just a freak accident. And besides vitali best punch is the straight right hand not a left hook.
