Holyfield was the more entertaining fighter, Lewis was the better fighter.

On the upper level he lost more than he won. Fact.

Struggled with palookas and old man. Fact.

Was not taking out by two ham and eggers with one shot but was never ever dominant or consistent.

Again, Holyfield lost and lost and lost when he stepped up

The myth of "prime "Holyfield.............the bum from Brazil, Glass chin Stewart x2, free baser Cooper, a fat unmotivated Douglas and Grandpa Foreman and Holmes..............not exactly the murderous row .............and he was knocked down and severely cut against Cooper and Holmes.

One more time, Holyfield entire rep is build on defusing a washed up post prison Tyson twice who fought a grand total of roughly a half dozen rounds in close to four years..........

Well I would say Evander is much greater than Lennox, but Lennox was a more dominant heavyweight. If Evander were Lennox size he would have been much more dominant and he is a greater fighter than Lennox.

Too tough for Tyson. Always. Any year. KO every time. You worship a *****.

Luckily for him, he got Holyfield late, just like Bowe did.

I have no problem with you disagreeing-or even making a case with little substance.
Ali fought bravely when he had to-including in his first fight when he was Clay.
But there was no problem taking the elusive approach, although he did not in some fights such as against Chuvalo, giving up his body while dominating.
And when he needed to turn it on, as against Cooper he did.

But why are you calling him Clay? Unless you are referring to the virtually universally recognized as pre-prime fighter-in which case it is an invalid argument to take someone not at their best-why not say Ali?
I hope you are not doing what he justly decried & was done by some antagonists like white conservatives, not honoring his name, Muhammad Ali.
Unless you somehow know little about the era & did not realize he changes his name the day after he first fought Liston?

But again, you ignored almost everything I said about Holyfield & focused on one side point.
Which in large part concerns him being better when he bulked up-due in some significant degrees to PEDs. Cheating.

Now if you like we can start a threat where we ask when Holyfield was prime-in an absolute sense.
Holyfield would always fight. You only presented a single argument that he was better-being under 30.

He was 31 years & 18 days in the second fight against Bowe.

Not everyone is best in their 20's.
He showed no signs of ring wear, & being bigger & stronger would certainly make a difference in impact & punch resistence against modern HWs.
Besides, many guys had artificial late primes DUE to PEDs & transforming their bodies & physical capacities-not just Barry Bonds & McGuire lol!
