Holyfield was landing the cleaner more effective punches while Lewis was landing more punches. Even the HBO crew thought that it was a close fight. Foreman thought Holyfield edged a close decision.
I don't know what fight you were watching.

I really do not know what some of you guys are talking. While Lewis obviously dominated the first fight, the second fight was close and could have gone either way. The official scorecards did not reflect this as Holyfield got a gift in the first fight.

Holyfield landed the cleaner harder blows while Lewis landed more punches. Holyfield was the agressor throughout the fight. It might be a good idea if some of you guys rewatch this fight .

I listen to all these Lewis Nut Huggers on here. First Lewis Never fought ANY one in their Primes, Holy,Tyson,Mercer,Briggs, Grant either they where over the hill or to green, and that's the bottom line.

Also Lennoxx was managed well he got beat or Ko'd by a Crack- Head psychological nut case Oliver McCall, And the Rahman slayed him with that David right hand.

I mean Lennoxx never had any wars, and that's what he lacks he retired because V.Klitscho gave him all he could handle and he knew that was his best and he did that ala Larry Holmes bust the eye job on V.Klitscho and got the stoppage.
Lennoxx good heavyweight never an all time great.

Although I believe Lewis is over rated he did beat those guys, no excuses. Lewis was losing to VK though.

Lennox may be the best heavyweight in history as far as size speed and ability.

Primes... Lewis that beat Morrison... around late ..1995..
Holyfield that beat Bowe in 1993..

I think Lewis would have pushed Evander around physically and although in a hard fight, he would have taken a points win... Lewis pts 12 .. Unan..
