Judging by McCall weird drug behavior and not training. Lewis doesn't deserve credit for the McCall rematch.

Sure he does. One of the top attributes of a champion is professionalism. Lewis, who could lack this attribute, was more professional in this fight... and that was enough.

lewis did what he was supposed to, you can task more from him. mcall didnt do his job.

to be fair, if he was so mental, the fight shouldnt have been sanctioned, but thats not lewis fault. its not like he preyed on weaklings and mental patients, this just happened to be a boxer who was mental at the time.

A good exmaple of someone preying on old fighters, bums and cancer patients would be the Klitshckos.

It's not Lewis's job to make McCall prepare for the fight properly.

He could only fight the version that turned up.

I dont believe in taking credit away from a fighter. But the McCall rematch is imo not an integral part of his legacy anyway. If Tyson demolished a shot Douglas in the time when douglas got knocked out by savarese in 1 round it would be equally meaningless. But saying "lewis doesnt deserve credit" is disrespectful.

I wouldn't go that far but in my mind there is a figurative asteric next to that win.

I laugh when Lewis loyalists say with a straight face that Lennox fully "avenged" the loss of the first McCall fight

I give more weight to the first fight because of it's emphatic, legitimate ending in McCall's favor.

    aha.

and meanwhile you get full weight for klitshkos chasing retired guys, near 40 years plethoras and cancer victims, unranked nobodies whilst ducking their losses everytime.

and then bring up mccall, whom lewis didnt cause to have mental illness at the precise time of the fight. lewis didnt know he was mental going into the fight, you are acting like he deliberately picked a nutta like the K bros do. Is he Dr Lennox now?

I don't know what you are talking about. I am not a fan of either Klitchko and have never argued on here in their favor other than I think Lennox would have been in trouble against Vitali, if not for the cuts to Vitali.

No, but it sounds like you are a LewisTard.

Anyway, objectively, McCall's easy aniliation of Lewis was much more impressive than Lewis being unable to hurt a voluntarily defenseless McCall in the second fight.

where does it say that? i gave a balanced opinion.

u failed thee.... the only person who could call a balanced lewis opinion is a kliturd.

the results were even stevens, 1 a peice, while klits run in gibbering fear from failed fatties.

why shouldn't he get credit? He came to the fight and Oliver did too.

Oliver was there, but he did not come to fight. He was not mentally ready. True, it shouldn't be used as an excuse for Oliver. But, it does mean that Lewis was not facing a 100 percent McCall.

It wasn't just a question of beating a 100% version of McCall, which was not available in any event.

It was also a strategic issue, of fielding the challenge posed by McCall within the division.
