In an interview today Lewis says AJ is a business man and wants to make money the Floyd Mayweather way and that he would have done the same thing!
Lewis wasnt a unified champion until NNE years from his career starting point. Lewis has no clue what hes talking about...theres a thing called mandatories and actually fighting top relevant guys when you have 3 belts. Lewis actually was the business man and chose guys carefully. He didnt get his belt back until 2 years later from losing it initially to McCall...so who was actually picking safe fights here and in longer time frame? Lewis continues to try and short change AJ,but no one with common sense can look at both and actually slate Joshua when you see who did what so far....come'on Lewis your troll game is weak as usual. lol
Hes fullofsht! He really criticized AJ for ducking DW and now he agrees with him? Somebody had a talk with the champ. Problably involved some cash too. The Mayweather legacy of low risk big money is an absolute disgrace to the integrity of the sport. I cant wait for the sport to wash itself of that disgrace.
Lewis fought the best in his era with no questions asked. He's the best British boxer that's ever been produced. AJ has a long way to go before even deserving to be mentioned in the same breath. So I suggest you show some respect casual. You why? Because Lewis was a fighter and had pride and didn't come up with excuses to avoid stepping in the ring with other champions. Even Frank Bruno was a more courageous and credible fighter than Jenner. These guys brought real pride back to Britian. AJ disgraced the nation and allowed a gypsy to restore its reputation. You talk about mandatories, but AJ only fulfills mandatories when it suits him so he doesn't have to take risks. Ortiz was his mandatory for several years and he did his utmost to avoid him so he could fight the soft touch Takam that didn't even train. And now he's avoided Wilder to take on another soft touch in old papa Povetkin who was on the cusp of getting stopped by David Price of all people. Imagine that AJ vs Price headlining wembley and you casuals being told its the toughest test in Jenners career!
