Could we do 18 pages on all the boxers who have fought on for several rounds after a serious shoulder injury in a fight?

I'm up for it. Start with Danny Williams v Mark Potter, Dean Francis several times. Vitaly Klii.....hang on, scratch that last one.

    threadjack cos this ones dead.

I think you really need to consider taking up another sport. Boxing sure as hell isn't going to change because of you, nor should it.

You are a sad man clinging to the past. Boxing like everything else will change as it always has been. Technology will find its way in just like it has in soccer, american football, tennis, ice hockey and others. Make no illusions on that.

You're nuts!!! Do you think matches are going to stop for reviews?

What happens if a fighter is hurt you going to give him another 1 or 2 minutes to recover while people review what happened. Get real.

review after the fight is stopped by a doctor? absolutely (the fight is already stopped). In case of a cut or injury? sure. other sports have worked that one out. I am sure boxing can as well.

I'm not really sure why this is such a big deal, because the vast majority of bad boxing decisions are judge, not ref related. And I know you seem to think that this would have made a difference in this fight, but you're wrong.

perhaps this explanation will give Vitali fans what they want to hear..

The ringside doctor was Lewis's secret lover, and as soon as a he saw an opportunity to save his life partner, he intervened and stopped the fight.

    :rofl

Now Semen want to change the whole concept of the sport so he can try and claim a bull**** could have win.

Wanting the whole sport to change to instant replays = :patsch

:dealI know it's unbelievable isn't it. He obviously has no self awareness because he doesn't seem to understand how ridiculous his statements on this topic are.

Hey, if what you say is true I am going to double my efforts. Perhaps I can make you stay away altogether.

Maybe you can point to me where I've posted that Lewis would quit???

.....as well, where have I said it was a bad stoppage????

It helps to thoroughly read before answering a post.

I think your the one who needs to read your own posts. This clearly infers that Lewis was dead tired and on the verge of not being able to continue. I don't really know how else to interpret this. And you're also the one who suggested this exhaustion would lead to Vitali going on to win had the fight continued. My response, was that the most probable outcome had the fight been allowed to continue was V.K. suffering permanent eye damage.

Bottom line. Lewis was old and shot. He saw that he was done and could not go on. He saw that VK could not beat him on his worse night of his entire career and saw that no rematch was necessary.

That fight has sealed his legacy and was proably the greatest career move he ever made. He ended his career on a high note. Bravo Lennox Lewis!

    BRAVO Sir INDEED!!!!:happy
