My take, although a prime Lewis would KO Jones, this is not a prime Lewis.

Lewis won a historic TKO6, but in truth looked sluggish and took alot of shots from Vitali.

Jones, although chinny now, could still take a punch at that point. Against Ruiz he was still very quick, and looked good.

The early rounds would belong to Jones. He would avoid Lewis' jabs and be landing some big shots.

Lewis in the Vitali fight started gaining momentum as the fight was going on. Lewis would have to be patient and try to find a big right to stop the fight. Too much power for Jones.

This fight is not the huge mismatch people will say.

Speed vs Power. Lewis was good at waiting for the right time to throw shots. He thought as he fought, so he would be in there till the end. It is possible a Jones KO, but what would be more likely is he would stay on his bike and out of range, coming in to throw every now and then.

This would be a problem for Lewis, because he was slow in the Vitali fight at moving in the ring.

As a result though, I have to go with Lewis. I think a late KO is more likely, even though a Jones decision is probable.

    My reasoning

Roy can't hurt lewis, Roy was already on the decline when he fought Ruiz and was stopped by tarver.

Unlike ruiz, lewis was a big super heavy and also an atg leagues above ruiz and had a huge reach.

Also lewis carried huge power, and not only that he had real top notch inside game, huge uppercuts that would probably put Roy into a coma.

Yeah Roy was quick but everything else he is at a huge disadvantage, ruiz was hand picked for Roy :patsch

Very easy nights work for lewis:deal

Lewis takes this one on points. Would be one of his top 5 victories.

Your forgetting ruiz wasn't that good and how would Roy take to be rag dolled by a man out weighing him by 50ilbs. Ruiz was chosen as a easy strap to pick up, why do you think Roy never fought at hw again :think

  10. People forget Lewis was utterly shot... so it's basically HW Version of Roy Jones vs Shot to **** Corpse Lewis.

I got Lewis via brutal ko in the 1st round though.........probably send Roy twitching on the floor and bleeding out his *******

I know that, but lewis looked really lethargic and really under performed vs Vitali. Dont forget that.

True he did but up to 2 weeks out head been preparing to fight kirk Johnson so he was under prepared a mistake lewis had made before in his career not taking fighters seriously. Then saying that I don't think he would of took Roy as a serious challenge either.

Seriously ruiz was chosen to make Roy look good, that's why he didn't hang with the big boys.

    Still lewis early and brutaly:good
