Beast H2H, nice legacy. A shot Tyson ate flush
power shots for 8 rounds and even won the first
round imo. Prime Mike stops Lewis. Anyway
if Lennox was getting outclassed technically
he resorted to brute physicality ala Bruno.
Easily top 5 all time. I was always impressed
by How Lewis bombed out the big guys early,
Ruddock (not prime still) Biggs, Golota,
Grant Briggs. Difficult to beat a prime Lennox
    under Manny

Prime Tyson would make Lewis **** his pants...

Lewis knew he was going against an old Mike.

lewis was a very good fighter, hard to decide where to put him in rankings because most top fighters he fought were past their bests.

ali and holmes 100% beat him, regardless of anything, because of there ability to out box him.

people like tyson, foreman, louis, holyfield, liston have a 50% or more chance to beat him, simply because his unability to fight on the inside, his distaste of fighting people who could match his jab and take his power, (who actually had SOME skill) like holyfield (second fight) and ray mercer, and also his ability to be knocked out with a solid, clean punch.

i may sound like a lewis hater, but i am actually a big fan and he is on of my favourite heavies.

i also think that a prime bowe beats a prime lewis, especially if bowe fought lewis after his first holyfield fight against the lewis that got KO'd by mccall.

i left that untill last because i am one of the very few people who think bowe can beat lewis.

Considering Lewis had about 7 fights when Mike fell out of his prime,he would've had a bit of an uphill struggle to get a fight with prime Mike, don't you think?

Lewis had potential to be the best ever and I am willing to overlooked that he was KTFOed twice since **** like that happens in boxing. However, the fact that he ducked Ruiz, Byrd and Vitali in the rematch really hurts his legacy.

Not as much as the fact that Vitali doesn't have anyone approaching greatness on his W resume hurts his.
And I can't believe Vitali fans have the balls to bring up Byrd.
No one wanted to see Lewis fight Byrd or Ruiz.It just suits certain agendas nowadays.
