Holyfield was 37, man. He was past his prime. Still good, but past it. The other guys you mention are not great fighters, and 2 of them had glass jaws. Peak Ruddock? What the hell is peak Ruddock? You guys are getting delusional on me.
Yet a win over fat chump Bowe was one of Holyfields best :rofl Lol, who had Tucker beaten? Buster Douglas? And who else? Absolutely nobody, that's who. Douglas had been Ko'd twice before facing Tucker and was a b-level heavyweight. The Tucker win was good because Tucker was undefeated? Bull****. Average win at best. The Spinks win was very good, but it does not top Lewis's wins. Tyson's other wins are absolutely trounced by Lewis's. There not even comparable.
Jesus! I cant believe how ****ing ******ed the general forum is getting. Lewis is a top 10 ATG heavyweight is most people's book. There are plenty of reasons for that. Some of the anti Lewis statements ive read here are frankly staggering!
Name some better wins. And then name Tyson's best, because Tucker had beaten nobody. I was laughing at you calling Bowe a fat chump. Like it or not, it is one of Holyfields best wins.
Name the reasons instead of blowing smoke. Name Lennox's 3 best wins. Do it, and even you will realise how overrated he is.:deal
The Mercer fight could've went either way and there really should've been a rematch there. Lennox did avenge his losses in rematches, which I give him credit for, but he never gave the people who nearly beat him (Mercer, Vitali) the same chance for redemption. That's something that should be mentioned more than it is IMO. Seems like a bit of a double standard was employed.
For those who compare Lennox to Ali: Ali beat Joe Frazier, George Foreman and a past-it but champion Sonny Liston. Show me how you can even remotely compare Lennox to that.
You don't understand, Rock: Lennox could get a second chance whenever he got sparked, but he didn't have to give a rematch to guys whom he thought were bums but then turned out to be difficult. That's part of Lennox's cherrypicking.
Go back and read some of the other posts on the subject you lazy ****. You'll find the answers there. Ill tell you what, Ill start you off... Holyfield..... twice.
A draw and a points win over a 37 year old Holyfield They're not even 2 wins.... That's your opening argument?
