I have to laugh when people say he KOed bowe

what a joke that fight means nothing on top pro scale ,

Bowe ditched a belt. So did Lennox , doesnt mean anything , they wanted bigger money fights thats all

Bowe quit against Lewis in the Pro's before Lewis even punched him.

Bowe and Lewis were actually signed to fight in 1994 but of course Lennox Lewis got knocked the **** out by Oliver Mccall.:rofl Bowe went on to TKO Holyfield in 8 rounds

Lewis fought a draw with ancient Holy and couldn't even stop the version of Holyfield that went on to lose against John Ruiz...

Didnt he win bronze in 84 ?

Anyway its not so unusual, being the top am was the priority and these guys take boxing serious. Plus a gold is usually a huge dollar when turning pro, it certainly wouldve been if he won it for England.

I remember Lewis saying that he advised Khan to go to the next olympics in china and try for gold so its not like it was some kinda hide out plan, Hell tyson wouldnt have went pro if he qualified but he failed to do so so that kinda kills the argument right there

All hail LL the great canadian champion:lol:

:rofl You still don't see the problem with your timeline? That article was from January of 1996! About a possible fight in April, which never materialized... that has NOTHING to do with Lewis turning down 13.5 mil AFTER THAT to fight Tyson... at a point when Bowe was fighting Golota. So you are saying that Lewis turned down a fight with Tyson months later because he was supposed to fight Bowe months before? Wow.

I can't believe that you are honestly still trying to push this ****.

Once again... you lose. Try harder.
