I have been saying this for years. It's amazing that people are blind to this. The man fought in an era that had Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe, Moorer, Foreman... and managed to not fight ANY of them while they were at there best during the 90's. It wasn't until the other stars burnt out that Lennox came to the front of the division. Then his title reign after he became the true Champion by beating the aged Holyfield (who then lost to Ruiz).... Lewis' title reign was honestly, EXTERMELY mediocre.

Also notice that Lennox Lewis never ONCE fought a Southpaw. I think that his coordination problems would have failed against a southpaw to be honest. He could have fought Moorer, Byrd, or Sanders. No reason why he didn't fight Moorer who held a title during Lewis' era, and had a win over prime Holyfield. He dropped his IBF title to avoid Byrd (and sat around fighting nobody for a year afterward)... and he openly told Corrie Sanders that he avoided a possible matchup with him.

 

Lennox Lewis is a *****, didn't he get slapped around in a sparring match by some bum MMA fighter, Brock Lesnar was going to fight him in a cage but Lennox ducked out from a real white boy American.

It's a disgrace that Lennox didn't fight Bowe or Tyson, I wonder why those fights never happene.........................Oh wait, thats right! They both shamelessly ducked him. Bowe putting his belt in the bin for all to see, and Tyson paying to not fight Lewis. And that is not speculation, those are facts. Lewis fought everyone in his era. At the end of his career, he fought a prime Vitali on very short notice, when Klitschko was one of the most avoided in the division.

Byrd would have definetely beat Lewis, remember when he fought that fighter with a similar style to Lewis.................Wladimir Klitschko? And thats right, he didn't win, he got dominated. Lewis would have easily dealt with Chris Byrd, and you are incredibly ignorant if you think otherwise.

Show me evidence that Lewis ducked Byrd and Sanders please.

Also explain to me how Lewis ducked Moorer, when Moorer was not ranked by the WBC, and he and Lewis only shared simultaneous title reigns for a few months. Moorer chose to defend against Foreman as soon as he won his title. You could just as easily say Moorer ducked Lewis.
