Lewis prime would lose to holyfield in his prime more and likely I think lewis chin would crack under some well timed holyfield hooks
True enough. I wonder if the God's representative was that guy who cured Ted Haggard of his homosexuality :yep
Another possibility is that someone of Lewis' entourage prayed for Lewis (without telling him), thus negating Holyfield's prayers. Or would the prayers from the fans also count and cancel each other? Life is a *****...
Another stroke of good fortune for that lucky ******* Lewis. His credibility would have been damaged a great deal if people of your ilk started to rate him highly :think
Yes it is, isn't it. Rahman - Two time world title holder, two succesful defenses, 6 world title fights total McCall - One time world title holder, one successful defense, 4 world title fights total and now in line for a 5th ....are either of those so much different than..... Bowe - One time world title holder, two successful defenses, 4 world title fights total
Bowe is a two time world champion, but this is true. Lewis and his people strategically put him through two Olympics, sent Desiree Washington to Tysons hotel room, and sent Dominos Pizza to Riddick Bowes house just so they could make sure Lewis had an easy stroll down professional lane. They figured Holyfield at his age would be easy pickings anyway, so they left him alone.
Though do we really count the WBO title????? I suppose in keeping with this thread I should add the fact that Bowe claimed the WBO title which makes him reign supreme above Lewis who never won this glorious artefact, WBO over Gold medal anyday :good
Yeah but he held the IBC:hey I would say the WBO ranks third amongst the legitimate titles, and some guys like Moorer at LH, Calzahge, and Cotto represented the title very well thank you. Holyfield will be fighting for it, and will be considered a 5 time world champ if he wins it. Hide didnt turn out to be much, but at the time, he was a respectable fighter with all wins and a lot of KO's against adequate comp at the time of his defense against Bowe.
We certainly see things differently, I'll say that much. To me a Holyfield win doesn't mean he's a world champ unless he beats Wlad, who is recognised as the best in the world. Then I'll call him a world champion, a win against Ibragimov would only make him a beltholder, in my eyes.
