Lewis vs Golota = Haye vs Adamek

I have never been a massive Golota fan but I'd guess going into this fight that his fans believed in him. Must have been a shock to see him destroyed like that.

Golota had all the tools to be a top guy, except one, that's the mentality of a winner

if he had Adamek's mentality, he'd win at least one belt in his career

Golota could have done a lot more in the sport, but didn't have the mental makeup. He was the good mechanic with all the right tools, but forgot how to use them at times. To be honest I could never get a read on the guy, he would **** up in fights he would be dominating, and really leave you scratching your head. Now he's driving Semi's last I heard, not that that's a bad thing, but his legacy could have been more tha just a footnote.

It was basically viewed as a pick'em fight by most at the time.

Haye vs Adamek= the C- Version of Lewis vs Prime Golota.

That's being very very generous to Haye and Adamek

Golota got stopped. This has nothing to do with his mentality.

His mentality might have helped him in the Tyson fight (Where he actually quit)

he apparently broke down in his dressing room prior to the Lewis fight

like I said, if he had the mentality of a warrior, he would of been World Champion at least once

Its fights like this that pit Lewis ahead of either Klitschko for me. Especially Wlad. Wlad goes in against massively overmatched boxers and jabs them for 5-6 rounds before maybe starting to open up.

When Lewis was able to take a guy out early he TOOK THEM OUT EARLY!

Lewis took out a host of world class opponents in the first half of the fight.

How many times do you see the Klitschkos do that?

No..... if he had smart promoter he would have been champ or if he was in this era.

Let's be ****ing honest here. Do you really think a Prime Golota in today's era need to be 'all there' mentally?

    Match Prime Golota against

    Chisora-Thompson-David Price-Tyson Fury- Povetkin-Adamek-Haye

KO KO KO KO KO KO KO.

He don't need to be 'all there' against anyone from this era other then Wladimir. He can just avoid Wlad and clean out everyone else.

That era, he had to go against Prime Lewis, that is some ******ed suicide mission. Should have just fought a few Ross Purrities after Bowe to rebuild his record some more.

Not really. Lennox only went to blitzkrieg his opponents when he knew they had some issues (chin, mental etc.).

Golota, Botha, Grant, Briggs,Rahman,Ruddock were all top class fighters at the time and Lennox took them out really early.

Wlad fought an older Botha and it took him 8 rounds, Vitali went the distance with a washed up Briggs, Wlad went 7 with a washed up Rahman.

How many times does Wlad and Vitali take out top ranked fighters in the first few rounds?
