Mormeck was the most bad ass 40 year old former light heavyweight in the game.

Dude why you making this thread into a Lewis hate thread?

Wladimir lost to god damn Ross Purrity and got carried around like a

Ukrainian street ***** after the fight . Ross just picked him up and treated him like his own Playboy Bunny.

I didn't even say that Wladimir was a more dangerous puncher than Lennox. But it's not like Lennox knocked out everybody in the first six rounds. He only went for the kill early if he knew his opponent was somewhat fragile.

He took out guys in the first 6 rounds far less fragile than some of the fighters the Klits have fought.

He fought better versions of some of the guys the brothers fought and took them out early.

Im not sure why you'd think that razor ruddock who went 19 rounds with a prime Tyson over 2 fights is fragile.

Prime Rahman was far from Fragile.

Briggs was hardly fragile was he? He didnt look it when he got into the ring against Vitali at the end of his career.

I just dont see how any of these guys are any more fragile than the guys the Klits fought. He took good fighters out early.

    Ruddock (2 rounds)
    Morrison (6 rounds)
    Golota( 1 rounds)
    Briggs (5 rounds)
    Grant (2 rounds)
    Botha (2 rounds)
    Rahman (4 rounds)
    Vitali( 6 rounds)

My point is simple, Lewis went after guys and tried to finish them.
The bros tend to jab for rounds on end when a lot of the guys they fight they should be looking to take them out early.

There is no reason massively overmatched guys like Adamek, Chagaev,Briggs, Sosnowski etc should be going as long against the Klits as they do.

Manny Steward himself said that when he knew that other guy couldn't hang in there with Lennox, he told him to go straight after him.

How many guys couldnt hang with the Klitschkos yet they still take 9/10 rounds to finish a fight?

You can be darn sure that Adamek, Sosnowski, Thompson,Johnson etc wouldnt last more that 4-5 rounds with Lewis.

Vitali isn't really a puncher, he grinds his opponents down. Wladimir has probably as much punching power, but he likes to feel his opponent out before he throws bombs.

    Exactly.

And when people look back in years to come thats what they'll remember.

Tyson is remembered so much because he went out and took care of business when he had to. He didnt wait around and bore everyone before taking a guy out.

Lewis was a good mix of the Tyson attitude and Klitschkos skills and tactical awareness.

Lewis could fight a long fight and control it, but when the opportunity to finsih a fight came, he took it
