Lennox Lewis think Haye can beat the "easier" Wlad but Vitali is much tougher

Lewis is probably right, but I don't think he'll be getting a Christmas card from Wlad this year for saying it.

He has a better chance against Wladimir, who has less of a chin than his brother and often panicks under pressure, but not a great chance against either really.

Haye knocks out the younger brother in a couple of rounds, neither Klit can handle pressure fighters and their only defence is to move backwards in a straight line.

Wlad is tailor made for Haye but Vitali is a little different as he has great punch resisitance and a heart something his kid brother lacks but going into the Vitali fight Haye would by then be on a roll and confidence would be sky high.

IMO Haye knocks out the little brother but big brother is a genuine 50/50 fight.

Wladimir is actually tougher for Haye anyways.

But both are about the same in terms.

Wladimir is just a textbook tactical boxer who, even if he doesn't KO Haye, would easily outpoint him to a 12-0 UD.

Vitali is more of a rougher who throws more punches for a KO chance than to score points and only try to KO when a nice opening is there, like Wladimir does. Both use their size very efficiently.

Wladimirs style mostly relies on mistakes the opponent makes and if nothing is there he will continue just jabbing and outboxing you, while Vitali like's to rough the opponent out with a much more attacking arsenal and wear the opponent out that way. Thats why he has so many KOs.

Vitali is older, and im sure if Haye comes full force and just slugs with him scince round 1, the older Vitali could be a bit prone cause honestly, he hasn't been hit with a real flush shot in a while and maybe the age has gotten to him?

But this scenario is very doubtful. Vitali would actually KO him probably earlier than he did to Areolla, Peter and Gomez.

Basically, if anything Haye can't get into the tactics vs. Wlad and would lose if he tried...either by KO when he opens his chin, or by very easy UD for Wlad while Haye fights via. Valuev.

It's Wladimir that hasn't been hit in a while either, not since the Sam Peter fight where he was all over the canvas from rabbit punches. There is every reason to suggest if Haye can find the rhythm and timing of Wlad to perfection and land the neccessary shots he could hurt Wlad. Once Wlad is hurt he is awful, he blows around like a tree in the wind.

Lennox is correct, but still Wlad is a big favourite.

Chagaev hit him with a decent ripper....

and plus, Wlad is too good to be hit now. The Wlad now beats the Wlad from the Sam Peter fight.

After Wlad lands one on Haye's chin, it'll be goodnight Vienna.

Chagaev is not the best of punchers. Anybody can be hit, there is always a chance. Haye has more speed and natural timing than most, hence his chance is a lot bigger than a Chagaev and an old Rahman who he has fought recently.

I'd make Wlad a 1/3 to favourite over Haye and his brother more like 1/6 but I think the UK bookmakers will be much more generous towards Haye.

Unfortunately Wlad's chance of landing one on Haye's chinny chin is a lot larger due to his size and skills.

Haye really has to land a big shot in the first couple of rounds and let Wlad know he's there, make Wlad fear his power. Maybe he can get Wlad into a negative mindset where he's tentative to let his power shots go. If Haye only has to look for the jab his chance is stonger.

Im not completed sold on Haye at heavy but LL has a point that to be frank is very obvious. Anyone recall Vlad's fight vs Corey Sanders? The one thing Vlad hates is speed and power. He cant handle either espcially when he''s "bum rushed". Haye has carried his power to heavy. That im certain of. If he can hurt a man 100lbs heavier than him he has a heavyweight punch. The key to victory over Vlad is to jump on him early.

As for Vitali he's an entirely different kettle of fish. David will find it very hard to hit Vitali and as soon as even the breeze from one of Vitali's punches grazes Haye he'll be doing his best Herbie Hide impression.

Fight Wlad first. Vitali could upset the gravy train.

I still believe that Vitali is an easier fight for Haye. Ultimately if either Klitschko land a right hand it's all over for Haye but the difference is that Wlad is much quicker than Vitali and is a better boxer and hits just as hard. Speed and skill will be the difference. Vitali is slow, squares up all the time, has no footwork and is much more open to a punch. If Haye can wobble Valuev, you better believe he can stop Vitali, as good as his chin is. Also Vitali is getting on now and I think Hay's speed will be devastating against the older, slower, clumsier brother. He's less likely to land against the safety first Wlad

    Haye wants to fight Vitali.
    Booth wants to fight Wlad.
Haye should listen to Booth. Lennox is right but whens Wlad going to be available?
Not for a while. So Vitali it is then
