Lennox Lewis think Haye can beat the "easier" Wlad but Vitali is much tougher

i was impressed with hayes ability to box to a gameplan...i really am starting to doubt that either k bro has the spped to trouble haye..yeah sure they are both big, fit, well conditioned..but neither are speed merchants...very gifted technical boxers sure, big power..induibitably...but the power only counts if it lands....i really can see haye getting inside wlads safety first jab and taking him out...but big bro could be a handful...but, and id never thought of it like this until reading one of the above posts..sure, haye didnt exaclty shine vs valuev..but he had a guy who has never been shaken, never staggered, never down, doing the funky chicken in the twelve round..he carrys his power into the later rounds, and that in itself is proof enough to me that he has genuine heavyweight hands....who knows what happens when/if vitali gets clipped with a big bang..no one is indestructible....the inatangible is that we assume haye is fragile but that vitali isnt....he hasnt been hit like haye will hit him since lewis opened him p....and that was a long time ago.....

Where was his speed and timing in the Valuev fight? Or them combination and KO attempts he promised everyone?

Chagaev showed much more speed and natural timing vs. Valuev than anyone else that did or shall i say attempt to do.

Very good point there Jeff, when I see Vitali fight all I see is a white Bruno as they are so similar in how they fight,their upright stance their poor footwork,the stiff jab and the one twos.

I think Franks chin was sound never saw him knocked out with one punch it always took dozens of uppercuts before the ref would dive in.

It sounds ridiculous I know but I thought Franks chin was too good as he took shots to the chin so well instead of going down and taking a count which in the Lewis and Witherspoon fights may have been the difference between Frank winning and losing as he didn`t get those precious seconds to clear his head.

OR he had the grace under pressure to execute a perfect gameplan, whilst hampered by injury, against a boxer who's 'style' has beaten 50 oponents in the past and whos freakish physique negated many a good fighters gameplan in the past....make no mistake, valuev was the easy option, he is one of the least talented, though likeable, heavyweight champs we have had....yet i think a haye firing with both hands and with the added confidence of going twelve rounds with, and almost ko'ing a genuine hw in the twelfth, will make him a much more exciting prospect against either klitschko.....it could just be serendipitous but i think both may be there for the taking and haye maybe just has come along at the right time to capitlaize....

 

I think the Injury was aload of ****, to be honest.

Right from the first bell, David Haye was fighting in a negative/**** manner.

There was no point in the fight where you saw a sudden change in pace.......

Aload of **** from David Haye.

After the fight, he was gripping a Mic..speaking during the post match interview.

Afew days later, he was on the Johnathan Ross show...**** scared to shake hands with the same hand.

What aload of ****ing ****...

 

i dunno..iv hurt my hand on numerous occasions and it hasnt manifested itself in its entirety till well after the adrenaline has dropped!

 

in an ideal scenario, wlad fights haye next summer at wembley- i go to see the fight and put enough money on wlad to cover the trip and the whole thing is free! :thumbsup

Haye has a small chance of a lucky KO against Wlad.

Either should beat him comfortably.

Valuev managed to corner him several times, so either Klit can win.

Vitali is a bigger physical freak than Valuev in that he is massive, fast and well conditioned with good reflexes. Valuev was mainly just big with good but no great co-ordination.

Are you being serious? The speed was evident, Valuev couldn't hit him due to footspeed.

And due to his timing and handspeed, he landed at 40%. Most times he threw, which wasn't nearly enough, but still...he landed.

Chagaev was a bag of **** against Wlad. He looked like crap against Carl Davis Drummond prior to that, illness and inactivity caught up with him.
