There are some fighters who I didn't like when they were in their prime, who I end up appreciating more with the passage of time. Lennox Lewis is one of them. He was by no means a perfect heavyweight. And, I am still not sure I pick him over a prime Tyson. (I definitely do not pick him over a prime Ali, or probably even Holmes). But, NO boxer would relish being at the end of those punches. Lennox Lewis had a devastating right hand.
I don't think so. Grant ducked under Lewis' left and waited to get hit. He had time to make some attempt at avoiding what happened next. Neither of his hands were tied up and nothing was stopping him from trying to defend against the Lewis right hand.
The Rahman (II) KO is my favorite. It was a sweet redress for his failings in their first encounter. A near punch-perfect performance, culminating in a crisp, clinical and decisive finish.
