Price needs to make sure he guards the back door when he has a blind side when in the shower after training.

Sounds like a very good move. A KO loss like that can effectively end some contenders rise to the top. Price will have to change his mindset to a certain extent to avoid a repeat play within the next 5 fights.

History shows that more often than not, a KO loss like that will often be followed by a number of further losses if the boxer is previously unbeaten. He wants to avoid becoming cannon foder and learn from a great champion.

If anyone can get rid of Price's bad habit's then it's Lewis as many of the deficiencies in Price were some of Lewis' strength's learned from Steward. Price needs to actually develop a real jab instead of that pawing left hand he currently has and teach him to box off the back foot. Also needs to learn how to tie up an opponent instead of just tucking up defensively, was good to see Lewis tell Price off for that as that is a big defensive flaw.

Not sure if Lewis can make enough changes in time to get Price the win though. If Price can get revenge it will bring all the momentum back and get him back on track. It's a risky move to go for the immediate rematch but look at all the flack Wlad gets for not re-matching fighters until they were no longer a threat or not at all.

Wlad tryed to rematch, but of course, once you have been lucky, nothing could convince you to enter the ring with a Klitschko again... Apart Lamont Brewster, that maybe really think he was able to beat Wladimir.

Wlad only gets flack from clueless idiots about his rematches.

  7. Good that Lewis still stays in boxing, but Price is unfortunately too limited and glass jawed.

I hope LL can maneuver Price past Tiger Tony this time, because it might set up a nice domestic dustup with Fury in the near future.
Would love to see that one.

The Lion knows what it's like to be smashed by one punch, makes sense this hitch up.

I agree Rob if Price can do it in entertaining fashion he may win back alot of fans and setup a domestic scrap with Tyson. A big 'if' though, Thompson was terribly underrated for only losing to Wlad on two occasions an ATG in this era.

So very very few of the big name fighters go on to success as trainers. The best trainers don't come from that kind of background. usually it is a case of former fighters not champs but good solid fighters.

The other big problem is facing a southpaw. Not exactly something Lennox has a lot of experience with. That corner is very fortunate Thompson is way up there in the age department and can count on diminished reflexes.
