Before ike started with legal problems he was supposed to fight Michael grant and the winner of grant / ibeabuchi would have gotten a shot at lennox Lewis ?( instead grant fought golota because of Ike’s legal problems but anyways Who wins ??? Lennox Lewis or Ike ibeabuchi in yr 2000 ?

    Lewis by decision.
Ibeabuchi showed in his incredibly short career that he does have a good combination of speed and power, and we should also mention his solid chin.
But he used chin as his defense so much he made riddick bowe look like a prime willie pep.
Obviously, it completely damaged him mentally which caused his downfall.
Lennox would use his 8 inch reach advantage, power and strength to keep Ike at bay.
Would look a little bit like the Holyfield fight, but it would be a much easier task for the Lion due to Ibeabuchi's almost non existant defense.
The Lion box him on the outside, doesn't allow him to get on the inside, beat Ike up with hooks and uppercuts and wins by a clear decision.

Assuming that he got past Grant (highly likely), we would have to favor Lewis.

Ike looked promising when he went to prison, but it was too early to say that he was on the level of Lewis.

Why not? It could be a late stoppage if his chin doesn't held up well.

I would have loved to have seen this. You would have to favor Lewis but Ibeabuchi would of been a legitimate threat. He also would of demolished Grant.

Lewis would win as a better and more versatile fighter by UD.

    Lewis was getting old.
    Ike has a good chance

I think the cautious Lennox would have shown up for that fight and stayed on the outside and boxed Ike and possibly got a late stoppage win.

Ike either didn't have the brain or the skills to outbox Tua so you can't favor him over LL. People seem to think Lewis would lose to any big puncher he never faced but he fought most of them and won 90% of the time.

Lennox would show how limited Ike actually was.

McCall and Rahman were limited and not better than Ibeabuchi, yet they sparked Lewis.

Ibeabuchi was a sensation. He may have battered Lewis.
