    I always thought it was a shame that Lewis didn't fight Byrd when Byrd was calling him out...

    That said...Lewis EASY by KO.

    Byrd could have managed to make an older, slower Lewis look bad, but not enough to win the fight without judges helping. Explosive Lewis KOs him, old Lewis decisions him.

    A 2002 version of Lewis isn't prime.

    Byrd had nothing to offer against taller fighters with even a semblance of skill

    He struggled like hell with McCline who is not good

    He won MAYBE 4 out of 28 rounds against the Klitschkos

    He had absolutely nothing to trouble Lewis

    Lewis would pound his face in with the jab and occasional right, and just push him away any time he came in close. Byrd had no power and would've fought cautious and scared like he did against WALD. No chance to do anything against Lennox
