Heard this one was suppose to happen but didn't..anyone know what happened with that one orrr? Not even gonna dwell into who'd win I'm not sure how well Lennox did with cutting the ring off but I know Byrd doesn't have the power to hurt Lennox. One thing I do know is this would be :dead :dead :dead
Lennox at the end of his career. He had proven beyond a doubt he was indeed the man. He wanted to finish out the last bout or so of a fine career, according to his hit list/agenda....thus for what I remember, chose to let go of the IBF title for bigger game. My memory is a little fuzzy on certain details, but I recall being impressed with Lennox' business accumen on this one. Byrd a fine fighter, an underrated fighter with the heart of a lion.
