If Lennox fought the same versions that Wlad did, does he win them both?

Sanders, of course, had size, very good speed, a South paw stance and KO power.

The Brewster that fought Wlad ( 1st fight ) was a very durable and determined man with a big punch. Roughly the same size of McCall and Rahman who iced Lennox.

Both Sanders and Brewster were far more likely to KO our upset Lewis than say Tyson, or Holyfield were.

Depends, Lewis could lose to either one depending how he showed up.

I would agree. You could say Lewis' ego was a big as a problem as his chin. And even if he showed up in fine mental and physical shape, these two could still catch him.

He's not fighting a limited and short Tua, or a Golota, here.

In hindsight, I should have added Ike Ibeabuchi ( Now out of prison and back in boxing ) to the poll as well.

Pretty much have to concur with both comments above. He could have easily sparked both of them on any given night and then again could have gotten nailed by one or both. Incidentally I view sanders and Brewster as being more dangerous than either Rahman or McCall.

If theoritical match ups are fighters at their very best l think Lewis beats them both.

Sanders would be dangerous, but I don't think he can upset any Lewis post-McCall with the exception of Rahman I/Vitali versions. Brewster, not so much. His left hook was a force but he was limited outside of that and Lewis never really had a lot of trouble with hookers.

I imagine that the Sanders fight would look like the Briggs fight, and the Brewster fight would look like the Tua fight. But he definitely could lose if he were lazy in or out of the ring. The big difference I see between him and Wlad is that I don't think Wlad could deal with Sanders at the stages in their careers when they fought. There was nothing flukish about that loss.

Lewis has the style to beat Brewster. Sanders more risky, and I would take Sanders over Lewis, Sanders KO in 3 rounds.

is this because these 2 guys easily killed prime wlad? why not put lewis in the ring with actual real top contenders instead?

jeez these guys never ever got real title shots, brewie needed the wborthless title to get somewhere, ans corrie didn't even get near a title shot at his very best.

lewis easily kills them. prime sanders goes down in 6, wladdies retired sanders in3. Brewster lasts longer, perhaps even to a points loss.

Sanders would be a risk. But not sure id rate him as a higher risk than Brewster. Fighters who's left hooks were their greatest tools weren't generally a problem for him I.e, ruddock, Morrison, Tua, etc.. It was more like Rahman, McCall, Mercer type fighters who gave him problems and preferably ones with good chins.

Lewis admitted to Sanders that he'd had "concerns" about facing him. Now whether or not Lewis was being honest or trying to pump Corrie up before the Wlad fight is up for debate I guess.

Lewis was a bit of a hot and cold fighter at times. On an off night I could see him losing to both, to be honest. Let's not forget that the Levi Billups that took Lewis the distance was devastated by Sanders in 1 a short while later.

If Lewis came in at peak and was motivated, he could go 2-0. So I picked 1-1 as the most likely.

Obviously, most people would predict two Lewis victories on fight night were these men opponents for Lewis during his prime run.

Just as most people did for Rahman and McCall.

    2-0

Sanders fight looking like Lewis vs Briggs or Vitali vs Sanders

Brewster fight looking like Wlad I only he doesn't gas and knocks Brewster out

but but but.... rahman and McCall!!!!
well for starts, rahman and mcall actually earned title shots in their most prime forms vs lewis. sadners and brews were simply never good enough to do so, failing when trying.

but this is where the kliturds really shoot themselves in the foot by bringing up rahman and mcall - both were obliterated in rematches as immediate as possible by lewis, whereas wladdie ran for the hills in fear till brewster was blind and shot and shot corrie was ..well, literally shot.

Is this the Sanders that got iced in 2 by Nate tubbs or the super man who KOed wlad? Lewis on song which was 95% of the time stops both mid rnds.
