so I ask again because you didn't answer, how does corrie do lewis if corrie is unconscious on the floor? u gonna answer this time or just pretend that's not a question?
If Rahman and Oliver mccall could knock him out, Sanders sure could aswell. Lewis not fighting a single southpaw in the pro's doesn't increase his chances, that being said he should still be considered a heavy favorite as the gap in skill is immense.
His straight right hand would have been a nightmare for a southpaw. But in answer to your question, I can't think of a single one he fought.
:yep Maskaev KTFO Rahman... knocked Rahman out of the ring with one over-hand right... Rahman landed on head... next fight... Rahman hurt bad but survives against Sanders... Sanders looked sloppy and got stopped on his feet against Rahman... Rahman got a title shot for this!!! against Lennox Lewis... he Knocked Out Lennox Lewis in 5 rounds... in South Africa... :dead Maskaev knocked out Rahman again later after Lewis retired, Rahman got the title given to him due to Vitali retiring rather than fight him!! :deal
Since Lewis ducked southpaws for all of his career, I see it as a 50/50 fight. No southpaws? It truly hurt his resume!
And Sanders straight left would have been more of a nightmare for Lewis. He seemed a little bit slower than Wlad in straight line footspeed. Plus he looked a little bit worse at controlling distance than Wlad. Plus he's a little bit shorter than Wlad, which means better angle, power and chance of connecting for Sanders. If Lewis survives the first rounds, he would win. But I'm not sure on this one. Sanders in shape is a hell of a fighter!
Rahman put Lewis to sleep with one shot! KTFO5 in South Africa!! Lewis probably still has nightmares about it! :hi:
Tough fight. No way Lennox would stand up to those wailing left hands. He would have to box Sanders like he did Tua in a way.
Lennox had one fault He tended to fight to the level of his opposition. Neither McCall or Rahman were not regarded as having a chance against Lennox. He went into both fights lacking focus & under estimating both. He paid the price got KO'd twice. But he made no mistakes in the rematches did he ? lol He should have retired undefeated it was really his own fault he didn't. I still think Lennox is the best HW champ since Muhammad Ali
