If Lennox Lewis faces dedicated Tommy Morrisson who wins? We know Lewis best wins were against faded versions of Tyson, Holyfield and Morrison. We never saw him fight against prime version.
"dedicated Morrison" you mean the one who got destroyed in 60 seconds by journeyman Michael Bentt ? got a draw vs another journeyman Puritty after being dropped twice ? Was almost killed vs Ray Mercer ? And went life and death and had his jaw broken by Joe Hipp ? Lewis and Morrison are not on the same level Lewis always destroys Morrison.
You can't say Lewis beats 100%, because of that left hook Duke posessed. Didn't Lewis get destroyed by journeyman Hasim Rahman?
Rahman a journeyman no.....I think you need to look up the definition of journeyman. Rahman was a two time world champion and had a record of 50 wins 9 losses and 41 KOs, and was ranked as a top 10 Heavyweight for 5 years so no not a journeyman. Bentt had 10-1 record and had only fought a scheduled 10 rounder once when he destroyed Morrison. Puritty had a 8-8 record when he dropped Morrison twice and Morrison salvaged a draw. Not comparable at all to Rahman. And since when has Lewis been bothered by left hooks ? The punches that floored him were right hands. And yes I can say Lewis beats Morrison 100 percent.
Yeah, no. Lewis beats him 10 out of 10 fights. Not to put Duke down, he's solid. But Lennox is an ATG, maybe even the GOAT
Lewis can be beaten by any HW who can land a solid bomb on his jaw. Since Morrison had real power, absolutely he has a chance on any given night. All the Lewis fanboys are in denial. If he never got KO'd and ate shots easily, then talk about him beating opponents without question or any time they fought. Fact is he couldn't take a big shot and was chinny for his size, a massive fighter for the time. People spent years pretending he was robust because he took shots from Vitali, who turned out to be feather fisted for his size and had nowhere near the power of his brother.
Can't take punches yet took flush punches off of Tua who had 82 percent KO ratio, Briggs who had 88 percent KO ratio, Mercer who had 72 percent KO ratio, Bruno who had 95 percent KO ratio, Tucker who had 85 percent KO ratio, Vitali who had 91 percent KO ratio, and finally Mason who had 91 percent KO ratio. Your logic makes 0 sense because of the evidence of Lewis surviving against fighters with high KO ratios.
Lewis dismantles Morrison. He has better power, better chin, better reach, better skills and far better ring IQ. Morrison isn't bad. He's just no match for the lion. I think what MorvidusStyle is saying is that Lewis has poor recovery abilities. Sure he can take a hit on the chin and has many times, BUT whenever he does drop he never gets back up to win. Or atleast I don't recall any time he ever did if he did.
Well he did get up vs McCall although on wobbly legs, some people feel it was stopped a bit too soon i guess it's a debatable but Lewis didn't do himself any favours. As for recovery abilities yes that's a fair point i know this sounds kind of bizarre because Fury has never been stopped, but i think Lewis actually has a better chin than Fury. But what separates them is that Fury has better recovery abilities, like for example if Wilder hits Lewis with the same right hand i think he goes nighty night.
Morrison could go on sabbatical in Tibet and get all his chakras perfectly aligned and Lennox still would kick his ass. There is no comparison between them as fighters.
Morrison was never near Lewis`s level, all he had was a left hook, Lewis would have toyed with Foreman in the mid 90`s.
