Holyfield UD in a very close fight. But the reverse is easily possible.

Honestly, I don't think Evander can win unless this is around the first two Bowe fights. Evander who fights Bowe has the stamina and the workrate to beat Lewis on the cards. Evander just doesn't have the knockout punch. The best example is when he fights Mike. He literally hits mike with like 15 punches and Mike just stands there looking dumb. compare that to Douglas or Lewis KO'ing mike,he wasn't standing up when they knocked him just eating it.

The thing with Evander is that he made himself look better than he really was vs Tyson. His first win against Mike was him beating Mike on the inside, but the main reason he didn't look that bad as he was resting in the clinches like crazy.

If you watch the second fight with Mike where Mills Lane didn't allow him to just clinch all the time, you can see the same symptoms Evander had in the Lewis fights; He just stands there and looks and is not active. He spent a lot of time just staring at Mike just as he just stared at Lewis. You can compare Evander's Workrate in r1 with his workrate in r2 against Tyson and you'll see a significant decline in workrate or in r2, he fights in a spurt, throws a lot then spends like a whole minute clinching and trying to rest.

The clinching against Tyson and Evanders ability to rest all the time sort of gave the impression that he was less shot than he was as he didn't get to clinch much vs Lewis

    Lewis by decision.

I would slightly favour Holyfield over Lewis if you are looking at early 90's Holyfield but not the post Bowe 2 Holyfield. His work rate was far too low.

I would still favor Lewis, but in a more even fight than it was a few years later...
