This is not the first time that a fighter has said that someone he beat was stronger, hit harder, was faster, smarter, etc. than a fighter that defeated him. Holyfield beat Foreman easily but didn't do as well with Lewis. Saying that GF hit harder or was stronger, or whatever than LL makes him (EH) look better since he beat GF. Also EH had matured as a heavyweight and was more bulked up for the LL fights than he had been for the GF fight so the extra weight may have diminished LL strength advantage?

GF's strength has been exaggerated by fans over the years. Pushing under trained, unmotivated Frazier back made some fans think GF was super strong. GF was almost always the bigger fighter. He wasn't in the ring with the big, strong fighters of today. He wouldn't be pushing around LL, WK, VK, Fury, AJ, etc, he couldn't push Ali around who was about his size. And he definitely would not be pushing Ngannou, if GF tried, he'd probably end up in the ringside seats. There are lots of myths among boxing fans.

Another myth is that no pressure fighter could beat GF. A fat, under trained Dwight Qawi showed that was wrong. The 5'5" Qawi who weighed over 220 gave GF a tough fight until he fatigued. GF's second career might well have ended with that fight if he had faced a trained Qawi. Of course if Qawi had been training and was in shape, Team Foreman wouldn't have picked him as an opponent...

It wasn't an accidental or illegal cut so what do the "scorecards" have to do with it?

I know it wasn't accidental but it's what's described as a hollow victory

Still waiting to see you substantiate your claim Foreman ducked Holmes. But I see you’re busy slandering him with speculation on Qawi, now…
