With the possible exception of pre exile Ali, there has never been a scabby MURICAN who could beat Lewis. He beat every Murican he ever faced, and took great pleasure in doing so. One dumped his belt rather than get beaten by Lewis again. One paid him step aside money, dropped a belt, and avoided him until he was so skint he HAD to get in the ring and take his beating. Another cracked up and told the ref he didn't want Lennox to hit him anymore. And yet another, even with the help of some fat slag of a judge couldn't get the better of him, and they were supposed to be the best Murica had.

Added to that the fact that Lewis fukked the so called " all powerful " Don King by having as little as possible to do with the verminous creature, is a pretty reasonable career IMO.

In fact the only 2 guys who managed to get Lewis to take them seriously were a New Zealander, and a guy from Croatia, definitely not some poxy Murican.

Dempsey should be considered a live underdog here for me but I only see him having a good shot for the first 6 to 8rounds . after that perhaps lewis would of worn him down somewhat with some laying on and jab

Erm Lewis was KO'd by 2 "muricans" - McCall and Rahman. Granted he beat them in rematches, but doesn't change what happened the first time round.

Dempsey had speed and power and a ferocious spirit and mean as a junk yard dog. Lennox had size and great offensive tools and a great amateur pedigree. If McCall and Rahman could KO Lewis it would be crazy to say Dempsey could not. Lewis was far better than Willard but Lewis-Dempsey is a fight between greats.

Gene Tunney outboxed Dempsey. I'm sure Lewis could as well.

    Not a good ****ogy.

    A. Dempsey was well past his best.

    B. Lewis is not much like Tunney.

If Lennox Lewis had to fight an army of Gene Tunneys one after the other, back-to-back-back, how many could he beat before he was too tired or beaten up to continue?

    My guess is 13-14.

Lewis fought nothing like Tunney. I would not undersell Tunney against any fighter. He was capable of beating anyone. Well trained disciplined fighter. Greatest textbook boxer we have had as hwt champion.
