It always amazes me when people claim that Lewis was this stiff upper lipped Mummy's boy who played by the rules, and did as he was told. You ought to read his bio, in which he tells how he would often walk out of camps and go on 2 or 3 day benders. He was just clever enough to be discreet about it, the same as he was when he bent or broke the rules.

I guess it is just a question of whether or not people believe Firpo, or Brennan hit as hard as Lewis with the uppercut.
