OK I can believe that Holyfield may well have been 6' 1".
I still doubt he is shorter than that, someone "basically" being the same height can easily be not the same. Especially when the footwear is different, he is not standing as tall...I met Tyson once, I thought he was the listed 5' 11" & a 1/2", barely shorter than me.
And that he is squat, fought taller guys in a crouch made him look shorter.
But tons of other info & comparisons to other guys seems to indicated he was no taller than 5' 10" & a 1/2".

Holyfield readlly had a 28" waist at that weight? If so, that was very low body fat & a relatively small bonen structure for his lower body.

 

Corbett, Fitzsimmons, Burns, Willard, Carnera, Braddock.

 

So did Sharkey.

 

Many amateurs nowadays are far better than the bums who somehow became champions in the past

 

I happen to rate Lennox Lewis very highly and think that Lennox stops Jack around 3.
