    So we have heard people debate for either man in the past.

    However lets talk about technically how each fighter should fight the fight and lets hear your technical breakdown of the fight.

    Could Louis deal with Lewis's big size/reach and great control of distance?

    The best version of Joe Louis, the one who fought Schmeling in '38, would beat any best version of Lennox Lewis you could chose from. And he would beat him early.

    Just my opinion...

    Lewis is the worst matchup for Louis IMO.

    Too big, and skilled enough in his own right as not to be vulnerable.

    LL is possibly the greatest H2H heavyweight ever. Great size, power, good speed, athletic, fluid, and a style that maximized his advantages. His lights were put out twice so any ATG would have that chance, but Lennox at his best was a beast.
