    Thats not what the judges had to say. Lewis had a lot of decisions in his favor, like the draw with Holyfield.

    Lewis should've fought Ruiz just to be thorough, just to fully clean out all rivals. It also would've spared the world threads such as these.

    Well, you know judges can **** up.

    It was a close fight, very ugly. Rahman won it on the jab in my opinion

    Larry Merchant demonized Ruiz. He made the boxing public watch Ruiz with disdain. One of the most accomplished champions of the 90's. Ruiz never lost a fight he won.

    Fair enough call, it was debatable.

    I replayed it a few times, from more than one angle & decided it was maybe legit.

    I see Ruiz giving Lennox a little trouble early but the right hand of Lennox starting to land and stopping Ruiz about round 8 or 9.

    Amen.

    What would be really competitive and fun to watch would be prime Botha versus Ruiz. Lewis would hold Ruiz' head and uppercut him to oblivion while the ref pretended not to notice.

    No, Ruddock, Tua, Morrison, Briggs, Tyson, Mason and Bruno had real power. Ruiz had a stiff punch and overplayed his strength, the latter of which would have cost him against Lewis, who was truly a brute.

    The level to which this forum has fallen in terms on knowledge and perspective really astounds me.
