Did you watch the Spoon-Holmes fight? Lewis can not put on pressure like that.He moves in behind an educated jab, yet Larry has the edge there.Up to this point, you have only being some odd comparisons whiich tells me you are the one that needs still to learn a lot more about the sport Which advantage? You keep repeating yourself but can not back anything up with arguments. Lewis had lots of trouble with old Holyfield's movement. That spells trouble for him.
Lewis is faster than Holmes now? You're simply a fool. As for logic, do you know what, say, a fourth term categorical syllogism is? Come, tell me about logic.
I just don't see Lewis KO'ing Holmes in this .. There is a reason Holmes is known for the best jab in the business and I will take that, his speed, and his conditioning over the long haul in a UD for Holmes
Holmes would perform much better than Lewis against the Bruno of 1993. Heck even the Larry Holmes of 1993 would not have been outboxed by Bruno of 1993 the way Lewis was until he got that lucky punch in
The funny thing is you throw all this logic out when it comes to Foreman fighting Tyson. Nit pick much?
The stylistical advantage of foreman over tyson is even bigger than lennox"s over Holmes . foreman is the motive for the nightmares of the boy tyson
Also both beside each other in my top ten, both just outside my top 5 actually. I'd have Lewis in a very close decision
To be fair, I think Weaver was pretty good and a top shelf boxer. But I do agree that Lewis ought to be favoured here.
Lewis is a lethargic lay back fighter. He won't do too well chaising larry around the ring. Holmes movement, handspeed and quicker, sharper jab would likely earn him a win on points.
Maybe. If Lewis turns out one of his stinkers he could blow it. I'm assuming that Lewis would be motivated and up for a fight with a guy as good as Holmes. I just feel that Lewis has more options and advantages than Holmes. But the fight could be a boring fight with both of them wary of letting it all hang out. If that's the case it would probably be to Holmes' advantage. If things heat up, I'd favour Lewis, as he has all the physical advantages except maybe stamina. I'm assuming that Lewis would know to turn up the heat if needed.
Interesting breakdown.I do believe Holmes has the guts to survive the heat and win a decision.Intriguing fight though
Ill do one better. Ill go and watch b minus level heavyweights like Rahman and McCall stopping Lennox
