Who would have won if Lewis fought for the lineal title? This is before Lewis was trained by Steward.

Lewis winning is the most likely outcome. Moorer being a southpaw doesn't have the big right hand that McCall and Rahman used to upset Lewis and Moorer's chin is unlikely to take many Lewis right hands once Lennox finds his range.

Lewis bombs Moorer out within 3 rounds.

Lewis was better fighter but I'm reluctant to strongly back him against any southpaw. He never faced him and word was he struggled with lefties.

Just one shot to moorers face needed. Lenni inspite of his chinny nature, don't think moorer has the power or ability to land flush.

The whole "Lewis struggled with Lefties" is laughable, just because he only fought one southpaw doesn't prove or really suggest anything in regards to how Lewis would have coped with against a southpaw. The one he did face he destroyed and with his right hand he had the perfect weapon for a southpaw.

Bowe never fought any top level southpaws either, not sure if he ever fought any southpaws but you never hear "Bowe struggled with lefties".

Moorer has almost nothing that could bother lewis. Lewis bombs him out like foreman did, except much much quicker. He would get ragdolled. Dont get me wrong hes a good fighter but this is a terrible match up for him. Evander holyfield, frans botha and maybe bruce seldon are the only HW champs in his era that he has a decent chance against

Even pre-Steward Lewis was wrong match for Moorer.

Michael had big troubles vs punchers, he was very skilled but neglected defence too often and wasn't that hard to hit.

    Lewis wins inside the distance.

By the way guy some of you may find it interesting that in teddy atlas' autobiography he mentions that when they considered the possible opponents for michael moorers first title defense, lennox lewis was rejected because he was and i quote "too dangerous"

A weak chinned southpaw vs a much bigger guy with a terrific right hand?

    Lewis all day.

You think Lewis wouldn't know that and wouldn't dispose of Moorer very quickly?
