True, but he should have ducked George Foreman !
He may as well have fought Lewis.

    Martin upset a few fighters.

well, he did, and you did answer a post that was
addressed to him, anyway i disagree that he would stop moorer in 3 too. holyfield was faster than lewis and he could not catch moorer that easy, lewis would be ponderous and slow next to the smaller but powerful moorer, actually i think that it could be competitive in the cards until lewis landed a solid right hand, at the same time i can see moorer landing and hurting him

He fought plenty of left hookers and beat them all soundly.

At least he got paid well for getting his butt kicked by Foreman.

regardless, after having seen plenty of both of them, I don't think Moorer does well against Lennox Lewis. Could be wrong, but we'll never know.

It's a good matchup. Moore was probably at his peak at HW

Lewis was still very flawed and would soon get destroyed by McCall.

I think the naturally much bigger Lewis would be too strong for Moorer. Both had mediocre chins, but I think Moorer's was worse.

Lewis would paw with the jab and look to land the right hand. Moorer would be busier. When Moorer does get inside, Lewis will push him off to get room for his right hand.

Eventually, Lewis will land a big right hand and get Moorer out of there, probably around the 8th round.

    David Jaco beat Razor Ruddock.

Ruddock most likely would have knocked Moorer the **** out.

The man had an asthma attack... how people dont grasp this is beyond me.

My oppinion is who ever gets to the other's chin with a hard flush, clean punch first wins. Lewis has longer reach so moorer would have to put himself in danger to land himself. I think lennox takes him out from the outside.

That and he also had maybe 9 or 10 pro fights at the time. I can't believe people mention the Jaco defeat as if this were the same Ruddock who blasted out Dokes with one punch five years later. If prospects are supposed to be at their pinnacle, then why don't we just give them title shots in their debut?

I'd argue old Foreman did not hit harder than Lewis at all. It was amazing what he did but he wasn't that good truth be told.

The power difference between Lewis and peak Foreman would not be much at all, if any, let alone old Foreman.

I would argue Lewis' chin was definitely above mediocre. You don't fight all those rounds he did against all those bombers (and winning, not running or fighting for survival).

It's sure not great but no way is it mediocre for mine.
