Tyson by KO. Tyson gets him with the right hand to the body then uppercut.

I agree with most of what you said

This is a 50/50 that could go either way. However i feel Tyson edges it, purely judging by the way their actual fight went
Yes Lennox Kod him and yes it was the same style he would use if Tyson was at his peak. However it took Lennox 8 rounds to do it and Tyson was more or less finished after the 1st.....a peak Tyson would not give up after the first and he would be there until late
Lennox would have his hands full, now you can see why Tysons opponents ran rather than fight, because they simply couldnt contain him (until his skills had declined)

This one has been done many, many times. I have always felt that Tyson would have knocked out Lewis if both had fought in their respective primes.

Lewis beat Tyson when they fought, that is the strongest argument. Prime Tyson has a better shot given his power and movement, but to say it is inevitable as the tides is stupid.

Billions of years in the future, when our Sun bloats up into a red giant, it will expand to consume the EarthÂ’s orbit. Then there will be no more tides.

true. tyson was much further past his prime than evander, who seemed to be good throughout the 90's and would of never of beat lewis because he didnt have a punch. im a big fan of both tyson and lewis, and im agreement that round 1-5 would be time for tyson to ko lewis after that i think lewis would dominate. yeh lewis might be a bit to cautious for tyson to get close. it obviously underestimated rahman, and mccall was because he was green.
destructive tyson vs calm mature lewis. its too hard to pick!!

I believe a prime tyson stops a prime Lewis.
Tyson had the speed, movement, and confidence
To get past the jab of Lewis. Tyson could take
Lewis's best shots I can't say that Lennox could
Take the best of Tyson. Could be interesting
Especially on the inside. I like tyson ko in 3

I can't remember my opinion previously but i've recently undertake a mass reevaluation of every boxer I list as "great"

I've studied every great from 1980 onwards barring sanchez and zaragoza (hopefully tonight or tomorrow).

Obviously tyson and lewis fall into this category and my appreciation of tyson has dramatically increased recently and I can't envision a whole lot of hw's beating him in his peak (ali, louis, foreman and liston might be the only ones) his style in the 86-88 period was amazingly effective with a great combination of defence and attack being utilised.

Lewis was also great and perhaps in some ways he might just be one of the most complete hws in history. However he's been shown vulnerable to one punch knockouts and I can quite easily picture mike forcing his way inside and knocking him out.

a past prime Lewis completely destroyed Tyson. doesnt take a genius to work out what a prime Lewis would do

.........And an even further past it Tyson had Lewis scared and backing up for 8 rounds in that fight, still respecting his power. Lewis should've finished that version of Tyson much earlier than 8. This is the only version of Tyson that Lewis beats IMO. I can't see how Lennox would be champion if Desiree Washington didn't ruin Tyson's life.

Prime for prime, Tyson KO's Lewis inside the distance.
