Lennox Lewis vs Muhammad Ali who wins?

If Lewis went the distance with 214 pound Zeljko Mavrovic he's not running through Ali, that is absurd. This is a pick em fight.

 

Muhammad would outjab Lennox

 

The poll of about 60-40 is a reasonably good one for me. Ali a definite favorite but it's no absolute certainty even if likely. I'd have it about 70-30 i think.

 

60s Ali stops him late. Lewis was a great boxer with Steward but Ali was a notch above.

 

If I had to pick I'm picking Ali by decision

I don't recall Lewis fighting anyone with the foot speed of Ali

Ali fought many big strong powerful guys

 

IMHO, yes. It wouldn't be an easy fight for Ali, but I believe he would have found a way to win...by decision would be my guess.

 

Lewis had more to offer than just size and strength. He was a big man that could box. He was intelligent and accurate with his punches.

Its a distance fight. Ali would have to be at his peak to win but I think he could pull it off. In and out, side to side. Lewis would hurt him a couple of time and probably win 5 or 6 rounds. I would lean towards Ali.
Could be an ugly fight.

Ali UD. Both ATG hws but honestly in my mind it's not the prettiest fight I think Lennox tries to use his range and strength but Ali gets off first with quick combos and then angles out. Repeat for 12 underwhelming rounds.

 

No. They weren't as big and strong as Lennox

It could be because along with that power Lewis had some precision.

 

No version of Ali stops Lewis. Ever.
I believe he has a chance of outpointing him, but he just doesn't punch hard enough to be able to KO him.

 

Liston and Foreman were slower. Liston might also be older than stated and not properly prepared.
Lewis will probably land way more on Ali than those two. But Ali still has a good chance of winning on points.
