    Ali could oupoint Lewis
    Fair chance
    Lewis could oupoint Ali
    Fair chance
    Which man has more stamina
    Ali
    Which man has bigger punch
    Lewis
Close fight but leaning to Ali. Avoid s getting knocked out and is still there at end of fight with more stamina, but close. Split Dec for ali

    Lewis wasn't faster than Ali.

And that doesn't answer how Lewis and Vlad were better athletes? Had they better stamina and endurance ?. Had they a higher work-rate ? Could they perform at a frantic pace for 15 rounds? The answer is no.

I think lennoxes ring smart and solid jab would throw ali off, but can lennox handle the movement
has Lennox actually fought anyone who was close to alis footwork and speed out of curiosity?
I might favour Lennox in a very technical fight

Over a poll this big it's fair to say the poll is a reflection of what people believe.

Ali is a slight favourite, I agree.

Dominates him until Ali is dragged out on a stretcher or Dundee throws the towel onto Alis shaking body while he absorbs big R hands against the turnbuckle.

Objectively its a fact ali hated being jabbed at. However ali's was faster while lennox's was longer so it would be interestig to see who could control the pace.

No way in hell lennox stops him. Nobody stops Ali, the guy was near 40 taking bombs from shavers, holmes, and berbick and never went down once. He might be able to drop him through accumulation.

On the other hand Ali feasted on giants and knew how to finish a guy once he had him hurt. Lennox was vulnerable to powerful right crosses and Ali had an underrated right cross. Ali was susceptible to a left hook but i dont think anyone mentions lennox as having one of the top 5 or eevn top 10 best hooks in his division (correct me if im wrong). IF there was going to be a knockout it is a bit more likely Ali stopping him late than the other way around--especially given lennox's weaker chin.

However, Lewis was no dummy and would be the smartest fighter Ali fought. He would know he cant match Alis speed and if he couldnt control the fight at a distance he would either try to rough him up or smother him and sap his stamina. Problem is no one, NO ONE was able to smother, tie up, and outmuscle or lean on ali. Lennox was a big strong guy but hed have quite the task ahead of him if he had to fight up close.

So if he cant beat ali on the outside, cant rough him up on the inside, and has a very slim chance of dropping him, how does he beat him...?

He would definitely KO China chinned Norton though, anyone with half decent power would.

Lets face facts here. Any version of Ali would be a very easy fight for Lennox Lewis. Ali looks like a skinny little boy these days.

So I guess Holyfield or Mercer at his best would beat Ali easily then?

Those guys was much smaller than Lewis and Lewis never come close to stopping them. In fact Holyfield mobility troubled him in rematch and Mercer fight could have been victory for Mercer.

Ali couldnt stop Tua either, which I think he's shortest opponent. If medicore champ like Bruno could outbox Lennox, Ali has no chance? what a logic?

Ali's lack of power would hurt him against the likes of Lewis. Lennox would tko Ali late in the fight. Also. Ali's size advantage would be gone.

Personally I feel its opposite. Skill level and boxing itself started to really decline from the nineties till now.

One of the major reasons Ali did so well in his era is that he outsized the vast majority of his opponents. Ali would get schooled by a lot of good heavyweights around today, Lewis is definitely one of them.
