Sorry but I think your comments here are way off base. The speed of hand and foot are significant here. Ali is also a superior ring general and better than Lewis at everything.

Better than Lewis at everything eh? And you have the gall to say Montero's comments are off base. Yours are flying around in outer space somewhere.

If you made this poll while Lewis was active, he would've received about 10-15% of the vote.
8 years after retirement he gets 47%.
Could Lewis become the new GOAT in 8 years time?

would have been an interesting fight but i think Ali would have been dancing all over the joint and he was a lot quicker then Lennox and would have been in and out...

Lennox has the size, reach and power advantage but Prime V Prime Montero is way off. He basically said that there was no way for Ali to win, Ali, even not in his Prime, found a a way. I would say I would take Ali 60-40 over LL only second to Louis who I would have a a pick-em fight. Oddly enough I would favour LL over Louis slightly H2H.

Close to prime Lennox Lewis was stopped by Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall and was outjabbed by inferior in that department to Ali Ray Mercer, but he's going to beat prime Ali?Nope.Fraid not.

No Liston is better than Lewis because he had a better skillset, better jab most crucially, and when Lewis cant establish his jab he cant get going.
Watch him v Bruno and Mercer where guys can jab with him, Liston had possibly the best jab ever.
Theres a reason that people were checking out the routes to the nearest hospital for Clay before there fight, as Liston was that good nobody could see Clay winning.
Would they have done the same had it been Clay v Lewis. No, didnt think so. Thanks for playing but try harder next time knob jockey!:good

Jesse Owens was greater than any sprinter in 2000-2012, but would not qualify for a single final 100 or 200 meters in OL or WC today.

Ali was greater than boxers post himself, but he would not be competitive with physical freaks as Lennox, Klitschkos und so weiter.......

    lol

Ali has a much better chin, is alot quicker both in terms of movement and hand speed and took punches from harder hitters then lewis

Ali by wide decision or ko towards the end of the fight

Ali I think, he would take Lewis best and come back, I wouldn't bet my house on it though I have Lewis at no.3 and I get the feeling I am underrating him.
