Tyson had a better defense than Norton, Lewis`s punches didn`t have the effect on Tyson that Jackson`s had on Graham, Duran couldn`t get past Hearns jab and Lewis was no Hearns. Saddler was better than Lewis in all kinds of ways.

Douglas had an 83 inch reach, Lewis was listed at 82 inch reach for most of his career... Later it was 84 inch reach, either way they were basically the same.
What Lewis didn't have though is Douglas's lateral movement and fluidity

 

Point taken, but what a lousy defense, Tyson would have outpointed him, most of these punches if not all would have been slipped Mike, Holy would have had to work harder to hit a prime Mike and Vitali looked dreadful here because he was in a brawl, very unconvincing, but yes great chin, thanks.

 

Holyfield and Tyson had better chins and have taken harder punches than Lewis. The only real time Lewis truly surprised me with his chin was in the Vitali fight but then again there are question marks over Vitali's punching power.

Regardless, anyone who has gone down twice to single shots to D level heavyweights deserves to have question marks over his chin and the possibility that it is possible to end a fight against him with one punch.

 

Rahman and mccal were not D level. They werent elite or ATGs, but they were decent fighters with good ring iq and power.

 

McCall was Tyson's sparring partner. Rahman looks so ordinary, I am pretty certain Buster Douglas will stop him in 4.

 

So what? Ellis and holmes were alis sparring partners and they became champions. Mccall wasnt "d level", i wouldnt even put tex cobb at d level. Youre acting like mccall had a record like ted lowry. He stopped an undefeated seldon, koed lewis, and won a decision over holmes. No d or even c level fighter has wins like that.

Rahman went toe to toe with david tua twice and went the distance, he also took blows from corrie sanders. douglas isnt knocking him out early, if at all.

Didnt say tua was hard to outbox or that rahman would beat douglas. I was responding to your claim douglas would ko rahman in 4 rounds which is ridiculous. Douglas never koed anyone noteworthy in 4, he hits good but not that good and rahman has a decent chin if he can take bombs from tua and sanders.
