Twitter account @editinking posted following footage. Interesting as it seems Bowe was struggling even before the *stoppage. Could this be why Bowe binned the WBC belt when Lewis was his mandatory? Link:

Well this was clearly a premature stoppage. I'm not saying that he would've won or anything like that.

But Bowe went through the much harder times vs Holyfield (watch round 6 of their 3rd fight) and Golota (watch round 2, 5, 7 of their 2nd fight). Much harder, much tougher situations there were.

good stoppage, he may yet never recover from the permanent brain damage sustained from one great shot to the headgear. he really should have retired after that one, the way he was lifting his hands up in the air like a madman, he was clearly punch drunk.

Did you think Bowe was winning the fight?

He won the first round handily and could have won the 3rd but was wasn't given the opportunity.

This was the same Olympics Roy Jones schooled that Korean for every minute and still was given a loss.

At the time of the stoppage who do you think was in control of the fight?

Should Joshua have been waved out in the 6th round against Klitschko?

You used the words robbed, from the fight everyone has seen no one can deny that Lewis was winning. No one can claim Bowe was robbed of victory.

You can say he was robbed an opportunity at turning the fight around, but we can say that about every premature stoppage there's ever been.

Had the Joshua fight been waved off no one would say Joshua was robbed. People would be debating to this day how hurt he was and how he was one punch away from serious injury. Hindsight tells us despite what looked imminent, Joshua did turn it around and secure victory himself.

Lewis was winning the round , he wasn't winning the fight. He would have needed to win the 3rd round to win the Gold if it wasn't for the corrupt stoppage.

You can say whatever you want , im saying he was robbed and i hold my opinion in higher regard than yours.

That Olympics was rigged against Americans. Bowe was robbed. Thats all there is to it.

Great post. I'd go so far as to say that if they had been fighting in Germany, Klitschko would be champ right now.

I'm of the opinion that fighters ought to be given a chance to fight through adversity.

Good boy for admitting Lewis was winning the fight before the stoppage.

Next time don't be so scared to be open and honest.

    Its not a crime Dino.
