Marciano was a great fighter, Lewis was a great fighter and he weighed like 60 pounds more than Marciano. Logically I'd have to go with Lewis. Guys like Tua, Tyson and Klitschko couldn't KO Lewis, so I'm pretty confident his chin could stand up to Rocky for 12 rounds. Of course, at the end of the night Lewis'll be pretty sore.
you're a well known lewis hater, your opinion ain't worth **** when it comes to him. are you still attending therapy after watching your hero holy get bitched slapped all over the ring by lennox? this is the worse possible styles match up for the rock.
Now we're talking. The jab, followed by an uppercut if Rocky ducks under is what I'm visualizing.:yep
atsch The hate on here towards Lennox at times is beyond belief. The physical disadvantages Marciano would have to face would be unsurmountable. It would be like sticking a Wlad in with O'Neill Bell at their current weights..........
LOLZ!!!!!1111 if purrity, sanders and brewster could ice wlad then o'neil should be able to turn a trick!!!!111111ONEONE!!!!1111 WALDO HAS TEH GLASS JAW1!!!111!!!!1
Look at how Lennox handled Tua. Ok I'm not suggesting Tua is in the same league as Marciano but I think Lennox would treat him the same.
Marciano also had tough time with almost all the past prime fighters he fought. Charles, Walcott, Moore and Louis. Lewis totally dominated the 36 year old Holyfield, who was by far better than any of Marciano's opposition.
Lewis by stoppage, early. Small, 'come straight foward' type fighters like Marciano are made to order for Lennox. Marciano is tough, can hit hard and had tremendous stamina but he'd simply be overwhelmed. The weight and skill differential is just too much here, the ref steps in to intervene before the mid-rounds. Lewis TKO4 Marciano.
Lewis has an easy time with little Rocky. 60lbs weight differntial, 7 inches in height and much bigger reach. As someone already said it would seem an unfair fight...a mismatch. Rocky was a tough slugger, but I do think he was overrated. How many world title fights he have? 5! And because he retired undefeated he has gone down as a great. He beat an old old shot Joe Louis. He's not a champ of longevity with 5 title fights. Only thing is that back in his day there was only 1 belt, which is how it should be today but money and greed dictate otherwise as in most other sports. Had he stayed around and done say 10 or more world title fights I might be able to accept him as the legend others do. He was a 185lbs 5'10'' man - today thats what light heavyweights come in at on fight night. He be a small cruiserweight at best. Rocky have any hope against Lennox? Now way on this earth. Not big enough, and wouldnt have gotten close. Lewis KO's him before round 6.
Rocky would have a far lower chance of landing flush on Lewis than McCall or Rahman. Rocky was on the slate at 5'10 (and that looked a stretch to me), has short stubby arms and weighed in at under 200lbs. Even landing flush does not guarantee anything in this case.
