Lewis by brutual KO, either via the overhand right, or more likely by an upper cut, it's just a question of when.

Is the match 15 rounds? If so then Marciano might have a chance. Lewis was too lazy to get in shape for 12 rounds so we can be sure he wouldn't be in shape for 15. If Marciano can withstand his firepower, and there is every reason to believe that he can, after Lewis runs out of gas Marciano will still be windmilling knockout punches. Lewis didn't have a cast iron jaw.

Lewis by murder! Marciano is just too small.

Marciano was measured by Nat Fliesher at Ring magazine headqurters, plus by several commisions. always just over 5' 10"

Tua was listed as 5' 9" since end of amatur carreer nad trhough a few years ago. If you need a link for proof I don't have one, so just believe both were 5'10" Or research it if you have time.

Marciano easy. Lewis isn't prepared for what he brings to the table for 15 rounds. Not now, not ever.

Of course he wouldn't be prepared for 15 rounds because it would never get past 6.

Anyone who picks Marciano in this matchup needs to get their head examined.

And they need to find a person that is 8 inches shorter and 60 pounds lighter so than they are so they can truly understand the size difference. And Lennox hit harder and was faster.

Lewis is not faster, something his backers are overlooking. I also am not sure if he really hit harder, just cause he weighs more does not make him the harder puncher. Marciano was not your average 185 lb. man, he was way beyond that in physical ability. Lewis was good boxer, well skilled, and calm, but not superman.

There's no doubt in my mind that Lennox would've disposed of Rocky in under 7 rounds. It's just too big of a mismatch.

    Lewis is not superman, but..

    ...Marciano is?

Lewis is one of the bigger HW punchers there has been. He's up there with the better punchers that's for sure.

How would Marciano beat Lewis, seriously? I can't see any other way than a lucky shot.

No disrespect to Mariciano, but with the day earlier weigh in these days, he could probably fight at light heavy in the modern era.

Lewis was a big heavy, with skills and mobility.

I still stick with Marciano, the guy is a ****ing machine. Those old school fighters didn't know what it meant to lose. All i hear is "SIZE OMG HIS SIZE, LENNOX WOULD KILL HIM, HES TOO SMALL! SIZE SIZE SIZE!"

Listen, Rocky would knock Lennox the **** out, plane and simple. He is way stronger then Lennox, no if and's or but's about it.

Lennox beats Marciano with the same tactics that smashed your man Tyson. (yes I know Tyson was shot, that's not my point).

Jab from the outside (followed with the right where possible), uppercuts when in range, grab and lean on him if he gets even closer.

    Rinse and repeat.

Nobody can give a logical game plan for Marciano to beat Lewis. It's all "old school fighters were tougher" etc.

Lewis has all the physical tools and the boxing skills to beat Marciano.
