Lennox Lewis vs Roy Jones Jr At HW

Any LHW is getting destroyed by Lewis

 

I doubt I'd favor any but why do you think that?

IMO Lewis is more of a giant killer. Technical guys gave him more problems.

 

Lewis would actually walk through jones.

 

Jones would evade Lewis but lose a lop sided decision. Lewis would be contempt to control the range, knocking Jones around with his jab, but probably would have trouble finding Roy's little slippery head with long clean right hands. I think Wlad/Haye is actually a good indication of what this would look like.

Jones/Sanders was also in talks around this time.

 

Jones pulled out of the post coma James Douglas fight, no way was he going to face Lennox. Buster Douglas even post coma would have put Jones Jr in the cheap seats. He had quick hands and could punch in combination even with his jabba the hutt jelly role body. Roy Sr told Jr dont mess with big boys.

 

I love Roy, but Lennox tracks him down with the jab and then things get ugly.

Exactly. Jones talked a lot of **** in 1996, saying he wanted to go up to HW & face Tyson. :-(

 

jones presented zero risk. Lewis would probably murder him in the ring.

 

Risk or no risk, it won't make Jones any easier for Lewis to catch with his bombs.

Bah, to the idea of Lewis walking out there and just throwing bombs because Jones isn't percieved as having power. This isn't a stationary target, and he could end up looking foolish. He'll control the fight easy with his jab, and move on.

 

I think Ruiz is **** and Lewis is an ATG. Lewis would fuk roy jones until he loved him.

 

I don't think Ruiz was **** and I don't think Lewis is going to have sex with Roy Jones Jr.....in the ring. I think Lewis controls the distance and beats Jr comfortably but I don't see a knockout or ****ing.

Roy Jones would be competitive with old style HW's, he may of even been king.

Lennox Lewis would of been King. I have no doubt.

Lewis was much bigger than Ruiz and Jones is a very small guy. He has skinny legs, and I really dont think hes over 5'10.
